When the measured resistance value is less than a few ohms, the resistance of the test lead and the contact resistance between the probe and the test point can no longer be ignored compared with the measured resistance. If the two-wire test method is still used, the test error will increase. At this time, the Kelvin connection method (or four-wire test method) can be used for testing. ETA3101 uses the Kelvin method four-wire test. The Kelvin clip and half of the jaws are insulated from each other, and only the measured wire is in contact with the tip of the clip. The gold-plating treatment of the clip can stabilize the passage of current, reduce the corrosion intrusion of the probe use environment, improve durability and anti-wear.
